Our story: This story begins by saying we love cats.... with all our heart and soul. We love them so much that we needed to find a way to support our cat rescue work. What better way then by selling the beds and blankets we have been making for our shelter cats for many years.

Our rescue work began 12 years ago in Philadelphia where we started feeding stray cats around our neighborhood. From there we learned about feral cats, how to trap them, have them neutered and then returned to the wild. We learned about managing these colonies, how to raise orphaned kittens and how to socialize a feral cat. 500+ rescued cats later, we have come to respect and love these creatures even more than we thought imaginable.

Even though we are now in Maine, our love of cats continues to grow. We currently have 47 rescued cats, each with a unique story. The proceeds of every sale goes to help these cats and allows us to continue our rescue work. Each bed and blanket is made with love because we know that it will eventually be enjoyed by a beloved cat.

Thank you for your interest in our products and the work we do.

"That was so purrrrfectly wonderful of you to send those to us. We absolutely think they are great, and given that cats are the independent creatures they are, I think it's a real coup--to your thoughtfulness, and to that company--that our cats, who already had established sleeping habits, really like them!!!"

"Thank you very much for sharing your newsletter with us. We saw your ad in last winter's DOWNEAST, I believe, and thought that blankets would be perfect for our cats. We didn't realize that you and your associates were doing this to save cats. We think this is great!!!

We have always had cats and have adopted them from the local shelter. We now have Yogi who is fourteen, a tabby with double claws, hence the name after the catcher by that name. We also have a young cat, approx. 3 yrs old whose name is Scamper and he is a Scamper. When we adopted him, he immediately contracted some rare disease and ran a temperature of 106f. He almost died, but our local vet was able to save him.
They love their blankets which I put in their round fleece beds. They wash beautifully. The cats take turns sleeping in either of the beds.

We are enclosing a donation, which is in memory of Yogi's sister who died three years ago. She was the dearest little female tabby, so loving. It broke my hear when I had to put her down. Her name as Berbsie.

Best wishes,

Amy"
